Scott Wrenn

BHSc (Physiotherapy), MSc (Sports Science)

I’m Scott Wrenn — a physiotherapist and strength & conditioning coach based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I work with athletes remotely across New Zealand who want to train with purpose, improve performance, and return to high-level sport after injury.

My approach is shaped by experience across both private practice and professional sport — where performance and injury management aren’t separate, they’re integrated.

Background

I’ve spent over 20 years working across physiotherapy and high-performance sport.

This includes:

  • Strength & Conditioning with New Zealand Women’s Cricket (White Ferns)

  • S&C and physiotherapy with Northern Districts Cricket

  • Ongoing work in private practice

That experience underpins how I coach — combining performance training with a clear understanding of injury, load management, and return to play.

I build robust, resilient athletes through progressive training that directly transfers to performance.

I have a particular interest in bridging the gap between ACL rehabilitation and return to high-level sport — where physical preparation needs to go beyond traditional rehab.

Whether you’re developing physically, returning from injury, or preparing for competition — the approach stays consistent:

Clear structure.
Progressive overload.
Training that transfers to performance.
